Information on how to enter form part of these Conditions of Entry. Entry into the Email Subscribers Giveaway Promotion (Promotion) is deemed to be an acceptance of these Conditions of Entry.
The Promotion commences 12:00am AEST 01/09/2024 and closes 11.59 pm AEST 30/09/2024.
Entry is open to residents of Australia and New Zealand. Employees and the immediate families of the Promoter and organisations or agencies associated with or benefiting from the Promotion are ineligible to enter.
To enter the Promotion, the entrant must:
1. have a current, valid and ‘opt-in’ email subscription to the Promoter’s Innovations email newsletter as at the end of the Promotion Period (Eligible Subscription); AND
2. place a qualifying order during the Promotional Period. A qualifying order is a valid order placed with the Promoter by phone (1300 303 303 for AUS or 0800 100 001 for NZ ) or website (www.innovations.com.au for AUS or www.innovations .co.nz for NZ) (Qualifying Order).
Each single Qualifying Order placed by an entrant with an Eligible Subscription during the Promotion Period will entitle the entrant to one (1) entry into the Promotion. No minimum order value applies. An order for multiple items will comprise one single order and one entry. Multiple orders will entitle the entrant to a corresponding number of entries. Orders are deemed to be received at the time of receipt by the Promoter. Orders received outside of the Promotion Period will not be accepted as entries into the Promotion.
Incomplete, fake, indecipherable or illegible email address subscriptions will not be accepted and deemed to be invalid. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel the entry/s associated with any invalid email subscription. Records of the Promoter are final and conclusive as to whether an entrant has an Eligible Subscription.
Unknown, incomplete, indecipherable orders or entries will be deemed invalid. Where an order is subsequently cancelled by the entrant (including under the Direct Group Money Back Guarantee) and/or a refund and return is processed for that order, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel the entry/s associated with that order. Records of the Promoter are final and conclusive as to time of receipt and validity of the order and entry to the Promotion.
There will be one (1) draw for the Promotion and one (1) winner. The first valid entry electronically drawn at random from the entries received during the Promotion Period (Prize Draw) will be the Promotion winner (Winner). Additional reserve entries may be drawn and recorded in case an invalid entry or ineligible entrant is drawn. The Prize Draw will take place at the Promoter’s office (431 Warringah Rd, NSW 2086, Australia) on 07/10/2024 at 3pm AEDT.
The Winner will be awarded the cash prize of $3,000 (Prize). For a winner who is an Australian resident, the Prize will be paid in AUD. For a winner who is a New Zealand resident, the Prize will be paid in NZD. The prize must be taken as offered, and is not transferable or exchangeable by the winner. For Australian residents the cash prize will be awarded in the form of a cheque (or EFT if requested in writing by the winner) and for New Zealand residents by EFT.
The winner will be notified by phone within 7 days of the Prize Draw (and where required will be notified in writing to their advised email address within 7 days of the Prize Draw) and their Prize will be issued within 7 days of the Promoter notifying the winner (and verifying validity of the entry). The winner’s name will be published in The Advertiser on 14/10/2024 (for Australian residents) and Sunday Star Times in New Zealand on 13/10/2024 (for New Zealand Residents).
Subject to the unclaimed prize draw clause, if for any reason a winner does not claim, accept or take delivery of the Prize for any reason within 10 business days from the announcement of the winner (prize claim period) then the Prize will be forfeited.
The Promoter may conduct such further draws as are necessary for any unclaimed Prize 5 business days after the end of the prize claim period at the same time and place as the original Prize Draw, subject however to any directions given by any applicable gaming authorities. If needed, the winner of any unclaimed prize winner will be published within 10 business days of the unclaimed prize draw.
The Promoter and its associated agencies or companies accept no responsibility for any lost or misdirected orders or entries. Any entry that is lodged by automatic, repetitive, robotic, programmed or similar entry methods or agents, including the use of a competition entry service (as determined in the absolute discretion of the Promoter) will be void.
If for any reason the Promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of running as planned due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right in its discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law to: (a) modify suspend, terminate or cancel the Promotion as appropriate, subject to approval of the gaming authorities in each State and Territory where relevant; (b) disqualify any entrant.
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax liability incurred as a result of entering and participating in the Promotion. Any tax liability arising as a result of accepting any Prize is the responsibility of the winner.
